Treehouse
These projects are our favorite!
We thrive on a challenge, and building treehouses certainly falls within that
category (plus they're fun to build!).
This is a 8'x8' treehouse that was built around a sturdy maple tree. It is
offset to the front of the tree to maximize floor space. It has a 4-sided
hip roof made or lightweight pre-primed clapboard siding, wide pine decking and
a wood & rope combination railing system. The access ladder is removable, and
the entrance has a closeable gate. The treehouse was coated with
stain/waterproofing, and the roof was painted. It is complete with a
pulley and rope with a bucket for the kids to play with.
